The Graphene Council News

A Pattern Emerges

From the start, we have been organizing content according to vertical markets.  However, this has evolved into the stories being best arranged according the actual development chain of two-dimensional materials: discovery of new materials, characterization of new properties, developing devices for various applications and finally optimizing the manufacturing of the material itself as well as the products made from it. We hope you enjoy the new approach.

We are also proud to announce the launch of "Graphene Technology", a peer reviewed journal to be published by Springer Nature and that will be the Official Journal of The Graphene Council. This marks a milestone, delivering a high quality publication dedicated to graphene that bridges the path from research to commercialization.

An interview with the scientist behind a new company that is commercializing a graphene-based membrane filter technology that will make water desalination more affordable.

Graphene Technology focuses on the commercial and practical applications of graphene in its different forms, such as graphene sheets, nanoplatelets, graphene nanotubes, dispersions and composites.

From providing clean drinking water to better measuring electrical resistance, 2D materials offer a number of "killer apps"

Researchers Take on the Task of Developing New Manufacturing Techniques for 2D Materials

From industrial production to making graphene products in your own home, 2D manufacturing is improving

With New Properties Come New Potential Applications for 2D Materials

Better thermal management in electronics and improved magnetic sensors all come down to a better understanding of the properties of 2D materials
